R.E.D Story Board

For one of my college classes, we had to revamp an only fairytale story into something different while still, of course, keeping core characters and concepts generally intact. I chose "Little Red Riding Hood".

In this story, Red lives a bit farther into the future. She traveled to the main city to get medicine for her dying grandmother, but to travel with the medicine she has to purchase a preserving case that keeps the medicine from spoiling until the case itself runs out of battery of course. That unexpected purchase leaves her to have to travel back home on foot, trying to save time she takes a shortcut through an abandoned amusement park that practically splits the main city and her town apart due to how much land it takes up. Once she enters she discovers the park is partly still up and running, some things still work as intended thanks to how advanced the technology is. Once inside she also discovers a robotic werewolf that seemingly guards the park, chasing her deeper in. Soon she encounters Hugh Huntsman and his robotic ally CD. Together they work their way through this amusement park, trying to get Red home before the medicine goes bad leaving her grandmother to die.

This storyboard depicts a scene where Red and Hugh are heading down a path to the "Tree of Life" which is crucial for their escape. Trying to navigate around obstacles they accidentally activate one of the abandoned attractions, alerting the wolf to their location.
